Since 2016, we have been putting time and effort into spreading the joy of fitness through strength and conditioning. ODC Strength offers programs for general youth, adults, and sport-specific training with teams. Our coach has a B.S. in Exercise Science along with several certifications making her one of the most qualified trainers in the state. We have a vision of a stronger, healthier generation and plan to achieve this goal one person at a time. Many people have heard that strength training and weightlifting can cause harm to children. I am in no way endorsing or validating any of these authors or their statements in these articles. We are not doctors; we are just merely giving you some resources to form your own opinion. Please read these articles if you are skeptical or do research on your own to come up with a conclusion on whether you think it is safe for your child. I have a B.S. in Exercise Science and research has shown that weight training with proper form and supervision can help build more bone density, improve cognitive abilities, and can help prevent childhood obesity/overcome obesity. We look forward to working with you or your child to become healthier individuals! ODC Strength, where fitness is fun! |
