About Us

Since 2016, we have been putting time and effort into spreading the joy of fitness through strength and conditioning. ODC Strength offers programs for general youth, adults, and sport-specific training with teams. Our coach has a B.S. in Exercise Science along with several certifications making her one of the most qualified trainers in the state. We have a vision of a stronger, healthier generation and plan to achieve this goal one person at a time.

Many people have heard that strength training and weightlifting can cause harm to children. I am in no way endorsing or validating any of these authors or their statements in these articles. We are not doctors; we are just merely giving you some resources to form your own opinion. Please read these articles if you are skeptical or do research on your own to come up with a conclusion on whether you think it is safe for your child.

In my personal opinion, I believe that conditioning and fitness is the best thing for children and adults of all ages. I have a B.S. in Exercise Science and research has shown that weight training with proper form and supervision can help build more bone density, improve cognitive abilities, and can help prevent childhood obesity/overcome obesity. We look forward to working with you or your child to become healthier individuals!
